A Poem From Brush Strokes!

Let us brush stroke a background of a
life gone by Like; looking down in a valley
and seeing what everyone has seen,
but only you
and I know the true story
of how the river used to flow

Before there was a you and me
being together, a background was started
but not finished on the canvas of our life
Somehow we lost our canvas,
but now there is you,
and there is me, together.
Our canvas has been found
Now let us finish painting
a background of love,
past, present, and future
Let us brush stroke a background
with a life to live

Brush Strokes

Let us make our canvas
like a bed to rise from,
to let us see new blues, sunrise
blues, and sky blues and sunset blues
that shine over you and me.

"When love enters into your life it will never leave you. Love builds us up and    tears us down, allowing us to grow again. A story of the past, good and bad painted into the present and future through a romantic erotic journey...."
Alvin Lloyd Alexander Horn-Author "Brush Strokes"

BRUSH STROKES-- a story about a man who gives up on love because of how it has hurt him in the past. His lifestyle and passions let women be near him, but not close enough to let any new possibility of love take control of him. But love is strange in how it finds it's way to us. Yet when it finds us, will we do what it takes to keep it?

The characters in Brush Strokes
ride a flowing river of words sending the story through rapids and serene passages. Immerse into the intertwining journey of these complicated characters woven into a tight page turner.

                     Waiting

(a poem from Romantic Blues)
“I’ll wait, too… and dream of another time when my eyes will undress your eyes and leave you reaching for my embrace to cover you and comfort you. I’ll wait until a time I will be able to ease and erase all, if any, past troubles of your mind. I’ll wait until a time you and I can not avoid our hearts from beating together, dear lady, I’ll dream sweet dreams. Until our time, let it be known to you; you’re no fantasy to me and I’m not an image from your mind of a dream you want to come true. We are real breaths of air.”

Trembling

I felt her trembling
As her heart was tumbling
I would throw my heart in her direction
and catch her heart
If only I knew in what direction
her heart was headed
Falling
I feel her falling
I understand
We all have fallen at sometime or another

I understand, about the what was,
and how it used to be
I would chase away all her fear if
I knew what her fears were
I’ll stand like a knight in front of her heart is all I can do

Trembling
I heard stumbling words
As she searched for what to say
I touch her lips with my lips to calm her and tell her all she needs to know
I feel you
I see you
I hear you
I know you
Tremble no more my dear.
